Important Note: Proxy Access is administered by your student through Banner Student Self Service. The University does not administer accounts or record authorizations. Please contact your student for assistance with using Proxy Access to view their educational record. Learn more.
How do I set-up my Banner Proxy Self Service Account?
Student Self Service Banner allows students to temporarily grant anyone they deem appropriate to view their education record as a proxy. The University is not authorized to speak to you until your student has provided their consent by logging into their Student Self Service Banner account and sets up your Proxy account. Please contact your student to request they set-up your account.
Once your student enters your proxy information in Student Self Service Banner, two initial emails will be sent to the email address your student has designated. The first email will provided a temporary account activation link followed by a second email containing your temporary password.
Step 1: Using the URL provided in your first email, navigate to the Enter your Initial Password… screen and enter the initial temporary password provided in the second email. Select Submit to confirm your email address.
Step 2: Once your email address has been confirmed, a second screen titled Reset your security password for Proxy Access will appear. This screen will prompt you through setting your Proxy Self Service login password.
Enter the Email Address your student provided followed by the Initial Password provided in your second email. Enter your New Password in the next two boxes. Select Submit.
Your Proxy Self Service credentials have now been established. You may now proceed to the Proxy Self Service Banner login screen.
